Welcome to Money Blogger! In case you haven’t guessed, I’m a blogger who blogs about money. It’s kind of in the name.
I really hope you’ll be able to find something of value here. I struggled for a little while managing all my finances and getting back on top of everything that happened and I spent a very long time trawling the web trying to find answers.
I’m back in the black now and I want to help others do the same. I’m collecting all the best advice and tips and tricks on the internet so Money Blogger can be your one stop shop to get you back on your feet and being smart with your money.
And who am I? I’m Adam.
So, I suppose you want to know who the man behind the site is. I’m Adam. I was born in Switzerland and migrated to the south of England when I was 10.
I’m sad to say, I lost my accent pretty quickly and my mum frequently scolds me for pronouncing certain words ‘too English’.
I was never too good at maths at school, I got by alright but I never excelled and, Lord knows, I wish we’d been taught to budget at school.
I think that’s an element of British education that is seriously lacking. We’re taught about algebra and formulas but never a physical lesson on how to survive on what your salary is, how to spend sensibly and how to avoid getting in a dire situation.
I went to university to study law but spent most of my time partying and not going to lectures. I blew through most of my student loan within weeks (but had the best time doing so!). University was an experience I’ll never forget but I wouldn’t want to live through it again.
I now live in Cornwall with a respectable business and my two lovely dogs, Lucy and Juda. They’re absolute terrors but on occasion they’re ok! You’ll often find me being dragged along as my two bully breeds go and sniff EVERY. SINGLE. THING.
About Money Blogger
The blog was born out of a need I recognised for a finance blog that was from a normal person. I don’t call myself a finance expert. I’ve just tried (and failed) with a lot of ways to get myself in the clear.
It’s this experience that makes me the perfect, accessible bloke that can help the average Joe to get a handle on all things to do with money. I’ve been through it all and come out the other side.
The blog will be focusing on how to get a little extra money, useful products that can help you on your way, how to become self employed, small business advice… basically anything that involved money and making yourself independent.
So, what are you waiting for? Dive into the blogs and take the first step to becoming safe and secure.
Got a question or something you want to talk about? You can contact me at email@example.com. Can’t wait to here from you!
